NJ as a National Leader
New Jersey’s state Department of Children and Families (DCF) has been working on system reform since 2003, and in more recent years, on wholesale transformation. DCF’s vision is that every resident is safe, healthy and connected.

But government can only do so much. It has reached the upper limit of what it can achieve in reducing out-of-home placements through prevention and strength-based supports and services. NJ DCF is committed to partnership to build something different that will improve outcomes for all New Jersey children and families.
