Truth to Transformation is an unflinching and powerful look at child welfare in America through the eyes of three people who experienced firsthand the trauma and complexities of being a part of the foster care system. Through their voices, lived experiences, and willingness to partner in co-design, NJ’s child welfare agency is being transformed into a child and family serving system that aims to assist, empower, and heal.

Film screenings serve as spaces for community members and organizations to have dialogue about the impact of the child welfare system and envisioning the path forward for best helping families and communities thrive.
